“Bendable” is a project that started with LG Display’s differentiated technology that can bend OLED into various shapes. It is a self-luminous display that does not require a backlight or liquid crystal display, and can freely change its shape by bending or twisting. It is a 42-inch, bendable OLED for gamers that can be freely bent and flattened through touch buttons. This product can be freely bent up to 1,000R (the degree of curvature of a circle with a radius of 1,000mm). When watching a movie, it can be used as a flat-screen. When playing games, it provides an extreme sense of immersion by implementing an appropriate curvature according to the situation in the game and maximizes the sense of space and reality compared to a flat-panel display. Bendable OLED, which allows the screen to be bent and unfolded, is the optimal form factor design for immersive gaming besides an obvious crisp resolution spec.
